Skim Spot Characteristics

Just up the road from Mosquitos this spot works just before and just after high tide, basiclly either side of Mosquitos working and generally a little bigger and more sheltered as well...

So better but with one draw back of having to time your run and drop perfectly to skim between wave and big pile of rocks, pull it off and you get into a nice bowley section get it wrong and your likely to hurt yourself or your board.

There's also a couple of other skimable liner waves which work at different stages of the tide which you can see from here.

Remember Oleron Spots really only work with big tides.

Access

Parking on the side of the road on Rue du Coq de Garde - then walk through the opening at the end of the road on to the beach, the pile of rocks to your right is what you skim around.
