Skim Spot Characteristics

The main beach and bay here holds a nice front wave. This is probably the sandiest beach on Oleron Island and the least likely to kill your board, saying that I still picked up a ding or two.

Works best between 3/4 and full tide.

Also at the north of this bay on the small headland I'm told there is a wedgy sider at nearly full tide, although there was no sand there at the time I was there.

Access

Big car park next to the land sailing, kite surf, windsurf school. Then walk over the dune.
