Skim Spot Characteristics

This spot is located on the well known Meco Beach (Nude beach) near 12km from Sesimbra Village. This beach has a very powerfull sand shorebreak, but unfortunly have a unconsisting sand bottom.

You usually have to look more far away to the sides of the beach, from the main acess, so you could find a nice place to Skim.
It handles with swell up to 2 meters from northwest (commun swell in Portugal), but when the swell have a big size you should go to Bicas Beach (southend of beach coast line).

When the waves are big you should skim on the full to half tide. When the waves are smaller skim on the low to half tide.
In summer is crowded with people witch some are nude. hahaha

Access

From Lisbon took the A2 runway direction to South, and then exit to Sesimbra. After you pass by Fernão Ferro turn right to Alfarim, and on Alfarim village look for PRAIA DO MECO (Meco Beach).
