Praia que normalmente só dá pa skimar de verão, com swell pequeno até 1,5 Oeste, ou 2 de Norte, funciona com vento de Norte e Este, de verão tem sempre rampa e tambem muita gente... cuidado!! Skimadas inesqueciveis com um quebra potente!! se o mar tiver maior pode dar sider no "morto"

A cerca de 15km da vila de Sintra a Praia Grande tem bons acessos, no verão é dificil arranjar lugar para estacionar a viatura!! Existe tambem bus e eléctrico!!
