Skim Spot Characteristics

This beach is hidden away inside the break water sea defences of Cabedelo and Figueria da Foz. Althogh I've only skimmed this beach twice now, I've got to say it looks pretty consistant. It will work with large and medium size swells from a westerly or north westerly direction. Anything over 4ft and you're good to go.

Due to the beach being inside the massive break waters it is very sheltered and it keeps the waves really clean even with strong cross shore winds.

The slope is steap but not stupid, I'm yet to find what tide it doesn't work on. During neaps it works all the way through the tide.
