Skim Spot Characteristics

This beach, the widest in Europe, can produce a pounding shore break and easily holds skimable waves over head high in big swells at high tide.

On smaller swells there's a good skim wave at mid to low tide... Basically in a big swell, 10ft plus you want a high tide, less swell lowertide.

Apparently there's also a liner on the North beach Buacos although I'm yet to ride it.

This town has some serious buzzing night life!!!

There's an awesome place to stay - the PaintShop hostel & bar - the bar is nearly always showing Skim DVD's and it's cheap as chips - This summers manager ME (JaX) will always be up for a Skim too and got boards to rent!

Access

Easy access from the beach to the main break. The town has very good transport links, to get the most out of it get a car and explore around the surrounding area.
