Skim Spot Characteristics

Known for it's great LI surf, one of LI's best surf spots is starting to be occupied by skimmers not many but enough.

Now don't think you can just go here and skim and dont care about anyone or anything. We are not certain that the surfers who have been chillin' in this spot forever are totally chill with the skimmers coming. So please show respect, get out of their way, don't bother them and you should be ok. This spot is still not certain as a main spot.

However you may also skim in between any one of the peirs surronding it at the exppense of loosing a little bit of wave. It might be a safer bet then messing wiht the surfers if your not from the Island.
