Skim Spot Characteristics

This amazing beach, secluded away near Porthcurno picks up more swell than any other skim spot in the uk.

This wave is a VERY heavy shorebreak with massive potential for a wedgey wave to be had.

Beach slope is very fast and steap, it's also very soft to run on at times. Beach can completly dissapear on large storms but is possibly the best during summer when other breaks are stuggling to hold a wave.

Never really crowded due to it's remote location.

Access

Follow the A30 to Penzance then follow the signs for Lands end turn left at the sign for minack theatre all the way to porthcurno,Still heading for the theatre drive past it completely following the signs for the church. Park at the church and give a donation for parking.
