Skim Spot Characteristics

A changable beach for skim. Works very well off of any size easterly swell even with a low wave period. For other swells anything over 3ft of swell and an 8 second wave period will give a good skim wave. Works best at mid to high tide. Of course a good crowd of friendly skimmers can be found here being the home of BoSkim!

Access

Very easy to find. Big beach front car park, but is expensive in the summer. Huge car park just before the pier on the hill and only a stones throw away from the beach, very cheap in the winter about a pound an hour in the summer.
