Skim Spot Characteristics

Rarely skimmed as only works on the really big swells, always has a nice sandy beach with little or no stones so is nice and easy on the boards. Holds up to 3-4ft reachable waves but rarely reaches that size. Can be quite interesting when cross channel ferries steam in or out of Poole Harbour when it's really flat in the summer. All in all a good beginner spot.

Access

End of the Sandbanks peninsula has lots of car parking space which can be expensive in the summer. Also plenty of on the road parking unless it is summer after 8am. Beach is never more than 200 yards away where ever you park down here.
