Skim Spot Characteristics

Unridden but with potential to be the best wave spot in essex. A good slope against the seawall and solid concrete groins produce a small sidewash going right to left. needs a big north/easterly swell to be working, helped to keep clean with an offshore westerly.

Access

from civilisation take A12, Clacton turn off. then follow signs to Frinton then Walton on the Naze. eventually you'll hit the sea. the pier should be on your right and the spot is the other side of the wall from the bus stop right down the slipway.
