Skim Spot Characteristics

Thurlstone is a very steep sandy beach which works best on high tide as at lower points in the tide it is just too steep. works on similar swell conditions too challaborough and bantham but can suffer from strong winds as it is very open.

Access

Follow the signs for bantham and at the bantham roundabout turn left then follow the signs to thurlstone go past the golf course and turn right and park in the car park at the top of the cliff. summertime it is £2 to park for the day but winter is usually free.
