Skim Spot Characteristics
Mainly a flat land skim spot.
Long, Wide (very wide in parts with the tide low) soft clean sand- southern most stretch better for flat skimming, although watch out for shells, stones, bits of concrete! further up into the crescent waves break right on the sand and are very catchable. not many skimmers out, so would be good to see more of a community develop, usually out on my own.
Wind can get right up and the beach is used more for windsurfs and kites, so always check the state of the wind before you head out.
There's always a part of the beach that good, but there's always more options when the tide's low.

Access
Dead easy to find, just hit the A55 and follow the road signs.
as you get into town there is clearly signposted parking behing the run of shops (all surf shops) and restaurants. given there's only about 7 buildings that make up Rhosneigr, there's loads there for surfers, skimboarders whatever.
